
Bio
Sue Birch is an experienced advancement services and fundraising operations practitioner and consultant, having worked in this field for more than 20 years.
Prior to consulting, Sue held a range of operational and senior management roles in Advancement teams in leading Australian universities, including Director of Advancement Services at both University of Sydney and University of Queensland during their first comprehensive, university-wide campaigns.
As a consultant, Sue works with not-for-profit organisations to align fundraising operations with business strategy and transform operational capability through people, processes, technology and data.
Sue’s deep knowledge and understanding of fundraising principles and practices, combined with her technical expertise, critical thinking, stakeholder engagement and change management skills, enable her to provide invaluable advice and support to her clients.
With a strong focus on both quality and outcomes, Sue enjoys working with clients who are committed to building high-performing teams and delivering on their organisation’s mission through philanthropy.
